Myriota Launches HyperPulse™: A Global 5G NTN IoT Connectivity Network Expanding to Europe and Asia in 2026

Myriota HyperPulse 5G NTN satellite IoT network launch. Global coverage of the HyperPulse IoT satellite network. Myriota HyperPulse Development Kit for IoT prototyping. 5G NTN IoT architecture using Viasat L-band capacity. HyperPulse IoT connectivity for industrial applications. Myriota satellite IoT expansion planned for 2026.

The first customers have already experienced the service in the US, Brazil, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and Australia, with launches in Europe and Asia scheduled for early 2026.

Myriota, a leading global provider of space-based Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity solutions, today announced the official launch of its HyperPulse™ network. The HyperPulse™ network is a global, highly scalable connectivity platform that helps industry partners easily build, deploy, and scale IoT solutions anywhere on Earth.

The network officially launched on December 15th in the US, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, and Saudi Arabia. Customers in environmental monitoring, oil and gas monitoring, asset tracking, and animal tracking have already accessed the network through early access programs.

Designed and operated by Myriota, HyperPulse combines the company’s proprietary 5G NTN architecture with L-band capacity leased from Viasat. HyperPulse’s unique optimization layer dynamically adjusts connectivity performance, such as latency and data volume, based on customer needs or environmental conditions.

With HyperPulse planned to expand to Europe, Southeast Asia, and more Latin American countries by early 2026, Myriota will redefine the economics and reach of global IoT connectivity.

HyperPulse complements Myriota’s commercially available UltraLite™ service, which focuses on extreme energy efficiency, security, and spectrum efficiency, delivering lower latency and higher daily data throughput. These features support applications requiring more detailed reporting and richer sensing capabilities, such as asset tracking and monitoring of heavy equipment, containers, railcars, and trailers; smart metering for utilities; environmental sensing for weather stations; soil, air, and water quality monitoring; and animal management, including virtual fencing, feed optimization, and remote monitoring.

Based on the 3GPP 5G NTN standard and leveraging Viasat’s mature satellite infrastructure, HyperPulse seamlessly interoperates with a growing number of NTN chipsets and devices, providing a standards-compliant path for long-term deployment and global expansion. Myriota recently certified Nordic Semiconductor’s nRF9151 module across various application scenarios and environments, and plans to certify more modules in its future certification roadmap.

Recognizing that modern IoT solutions require more than just network connectivity, Myriota has also released a suite of enabling products designed to support its IoT partner ecosystem in seamlessly integrating and developing solutions for HyperPulse networks. The first tool launched alongside this service is the HyperPulse Development Kit. This kit supports rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept design, is designed for field use, and features a weatherproof housing, battery power, and a variety of sensor and interface options.
