From August 27 to 29, 2025, the 24th International Internet of Things Exhibition (IOTE) Shenzhen concluded successfully at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center (Bao’an). As a leading global event for the Internet of Things and smart technology, the exhibition attracted 118,358 professional visitors from around the world, presenting the industry with a super feast that combined technological breakthroughs with in-depth business insights. The “Greater Bay Area AI Toys Exhibition Area” in Hall 10 was a highlight of the event, with exhibitors reporting high popularity, product materials quickly sold out, and active exchanges and interactions.

Jointly created by the Shenzhen Toy Industry Association and Visual IoT, this exhibition area brings together over 50 industry chain companies, including Shuxinyu, Bainshi, Ai Lingxin, Quchao, Junou, Mengshiqi, Jixian Technology, Weilongxing, and Prism Hologram. The exhibition showcases innovative AI toys in the areas of intelligence, personalization, and scenario-based applications, injecting new momentum into the upgrading of the Greater Bay Area’s traditional toy industry and providing visitors with an immersive smart toy experience and forward-looking ideas.


2025 Greater Bay Area AI Industry Forum and AI Toy Innovation Product Launch Conference
On August 28th, the 2025 Greater Bay Area AI Industry Forum and AI Toy Innovation Product Launch Conference, a key component of the exhibition, was successfully held. The event was co-organized by the Shenzhen Toy Industry Association, Visual IoT, and JD Supermarket, and hosted by the Greater Bay Area AI Committee. It received strong support from companies and institutions such as Tuya Smart, GF Securities, Tencent Cloud, iFlytek, Jier Technology, and Douyin E-commerce. The forum attracted over 500 industry experts, business representatives, and investors to discuss the integration and innovation of artificial intelligence (AI) and the toy industry. Relevant officials from the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology attended and provided guidance.
AI is reshaping the toy industry ecosystem and driving overall upgrades in the supply chain. The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, with its manufacturing infrastructure, talent pool, and innovative environment, demonstrates significant advantages in the AI toy sector.

Liu Zhenlie stated, “AI will be the core driving force of the toy industry over the next decade. We should accelerate technological integration and cross-sector collaboration to seize the strategic opportunities of ‘AI+’.” Yang Weiqi stated that the integration of AIoT is driving industry upgrades and provided an outlook on the future development of AI-enabled technologies.

The conference specially invited Wei Shasha, Director of the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Ankang City, Shaanxi Province, known as the “New Capital of China’s Plush Toy Industry,” to share the achievements of the local toy industry’s intelligent upgrades. Ankang has gathered 806 plush toy companies. By establishing intelligent R&D centers and launching an innovative “AI + Toy” product portfolio, they are driving the transformation of traditional toys into “warm, intelligent companions.”

Afterwards, representatives from Ankang and Shenzhen jointly launched the Shenzhen-Ankang Plush Toy Industry Collaborative Development Ceremony, hoping to achieve win-win industrial cooperation through complementary strengths.

Dan Chao, General Manager of GF Securities’ Investment Banking Department, South China II, analyzed the investment value and development challenges of AI toys, noting that the industry is entering a period of explosive growth.
At this forum, special guests engaged in in-depth discussions on investment, technology, ecosystems, marketing, and other dimensions.

Zhang Hang, Head of Smart Early Childhood Toys at JD Supermarket, noted that Generation Z parents have become the main consumer force and announced relevant platform support policies.

Zhang Jinfan, Chief Industry Architect of Tencent Cloud, emphasized that AI empowers the entire trendy toy industry chain, driving enterprise innovation through “technology + IP.”

Tuya Smart AI Hardware Product Manager Zhuang Chengxing proposed lowering the development threshold through the Agent open platform, promoting modularization and low-code innovation.

Jieri Technology AIoT Product Director Yin Bo shared highly integrated, low-power chip solutions that effectively optimize product performance and cost structure.

iFlytek Human-Computer Interaction Product Manager Wu Rusong shared a dedicated interactive solution for children’s toys, leveraging natural language processing and AI UI platform data to enable emotional and personalized conversations.

Nanjing Siwei Vector CEO Wang Hesheng introduced the Lintong AI Big Model Platform, which quickly injects intelligent capabilities into traditional toys.

Douyin E-commerce Comprehensive Business Toys and Trendy Toys Operations Manager Luo Zhishen shared new ideas for AI toy content and e-commerce operations.

Jixian Technology CTO Wu Kaihua proposed a “Lego-style” development concept, leveraging open platforms and modular components to efficiently build AI toys while ensuring security and privacy.

Wang Xinchun, Chairman of Wuyu Zhilian, noted that AI is driving the transformation of IP into a “dynamic living entity,” enabling user co-creation and continuous evolution.

Hu Qingya, Product Director of Prism Holographic Intelligent Body, combined user behavior to use AI to recreate top-tier IP cases.

Wu Zhizhong of Ankang AI Plush Toy Laboratory introduced smart toys based on brain-inspired computing and emotion recognition, fully empowering the upgrade of Ankang’s toy industry.
At the conference, several technology companies and toy brands launched a number of innovative AI products, showcasing the results of deep industry integration.
World Core Technology launched the “Water Era Series” AI pet movement, combining “movement + IP” to make traditional toys intelligent. Mozhi Planet launched an AI learning machine that integrates play, exploration, learning, AI companionship, listening, and safety, creating a new way for parents and children to explore knowledge. Junou Toys released the “Le Dou Dou, Rong Nuonuo, and Bao Bao Xiao Dou Dou” series of AI plush toys, featuring multilingual dialogue and anthropomorphic interaction.
Zaocheng Technology launched the “DaDa AI Building Block Robot,” which supports free building and natural conversation. Ai Lingxin released an AI “Duzhe” (pair of toys) that provides lightweight, all-weather companionship. Zhongkeshiwei launched a cost-effective binocular color screen solution; Weilongxing Industrial released the “Coding Xiaofang” AI building block toy to help children develop logical thinking. Guangdong Longqiu Digital Technology launched an AI plush toy that incorporates Lingnan culture, catering to both children’s companionship and young people’s stress relief needs.

This event promoted the development of an AI toy ecosystem in the Greater Bay Area and fostered industry exchange. Participants discussed industry collaboration and market cooperation, contributing to the development of a global hub for AI toy innovation. The Shenzhen Toy Industry Association will continue to host industry events to deepen cooperation and cross-sector integration, promoting the healthy development of the AI toy market.
The State Council’s “Artificial Intelligence Plus” action plan has injected new momentum into the industry. Although the integration of AI and toys is still in its infancy, the prospects are promising. This forum not only provides new ideas for the intelligent transformation of the industry, but also brings more expectations for future toys to consumers.
