On the morning of August 27th, the “Embodied Symbiosis, Intelligently Inspiring the Future” Tencent Cloud Intelligence Forum, hosted by the 2025 AGIC Conference Organizing Committee, organized by Shenzhen Tencent Computer Systems Co., Ltd., and co-organized by the Shenzhen Artificial Intelligence Industry Association, was successfully held at the Turing Academy of the Shenzhen World Convention and Exhibition Center!
In his speech, Xu Ming, Co-Chair of the AGIC Shenzhen (International) General Artificial Intelligence Conference and Supervisory Director of the Shenzhen Artificial Intelligence Industry Association, emphasized the important role of AI technology in promoting industrial upgrading and promoting economic and social development, and expressed high praise for Tencent’s continued innovation and contributions in the AI field.
Li Congzhi, General Manager of Tencent Cloud Shenzhen Enterprise Business, delivered a speech on behalf of Tencent. He shared Tencent Cloud’s latest progress and future plans in intelligent technology, and stated that Tencent Cloud will continue to deepen the research and development and application of AI technology to help more enterprises achieve digital transformation and intelligent upgrades.
During the keynote speech session, experts shared in-depth insights into the future of AI technology:
Academician Pan Yi shared his speech, “The Current Development Status and Future Breakthrough Directions of General Artificial Intelligence Big Models.” Focusing on general artificial intelligence big models, he first highlighted their strategic importance and policy support in Shenzhen and other regions. He then reviewed the rapid evolution of AI technology from AlphaGo to Sora, analyzing the development of three generations of AI systems from knowledge-driven to data- and knowledge-driven. He introduced the landscape and multi-domain applications of China’s 197 registered big models, touched on AIGC risk and governance tools, and finally, based on the “New Generation AI Expert Consensus,” outlined future directions. The core focus was on using six pillars to drive AGI to empower a wide range of industries.
Cai Peng, General Manager of Regional Solutions Architecture at Tencent Cloud, spoke on the topic of “Tencent Cloud Promotes Leapfrog Development of the Embodied Intelligence Industry.” He focused on how Tencent Cloud is driving the leapfrog development of the embodied intelligence industry. He first analyzed how multimodal large models are driving the intelligent evolution of robots, but faced the bottlenecks of “AI requiring physical perception” and “robots requiring powerful brains.” He then compared end-to-end and layered technology approaches, highlighting data (robot modalities contain only 2.4 million fragments) as a core barrier. He then introduced Tencent’s technological development since 2018, including the development of multiple robots and the July 2025 joint launch of the TaiRos platform, which provides robots with “brain” capabilities. He also detailed Tencent Cloud’s full-stack “See, Hear, and Smart” solution, supplemented by case studies, to help industry breakthroughs and promote win-win cooperation between humans and machines.
Liu Yang, a storage expert architect at Tencent Cloud, shared his presentation titled “Tencent Cloud Data Platform: Embodied Intelligence Data Storage and Processing Solutions.” He focused on the Tencent Cloud Data Platform’s embodied intelligence data storage and processing solutions. He first explained that robot brain training requires diverse data, such as manipulation and navigation, but faces challenges with diverse formats, complex pre-processing, and storage read/write capabilities, with varying storage requirements across different stages. He then detailed components such as COS (storage pedestal), the GooseFS series (optimizing access performance), and Data Vientiane (processing and governance). Finally, he used case studies to demonstrate the solution’s value, helping to efficiently advance embodied intelligence.
Tencent Cloud Senior Architect Zhang Chuanchuan’s presentation focused on how real-time interactive technology empowers the embodied intelligence industry. He first introduced scenarios such as robot-terminal/cloud interaction, clarifying the requirements for <100ms latency, 100Hz control frequency, and 30% packet loss tolerance. He then detailed the Tencent Cloud solution—based on audio and video technology, including robot/controller SDKs and servers—to achieve local latency <30ms and offer advantages such as robustness against weak networks. Finally, he used case studies and test data to validate the results, helping the industry overcome physical limitations.
Tencent Cloud Intelligent AI Solutions Director Wang Wei’s presentation focused on “transforming model training into intelligent agent practice, accelerating the implementation of new AI productivity.” He highlighted Tencent Cloud Intelligent’s technological expertise and product portfolio, including the TI-ONE training platform, the ADP intelligent agent development platform, and the Hunyuan large-scale model. These initiatives empower areas such as embodied intelligence, lower development barriers, and promote AI adoption.
The forum invited partners to share their practical experiences and successful cases in applying AI technology. These cases spanned multiple industries, demonstrating the profound impact of AI technology in driving industry transformation and innovation, and further confirming Shenzhen’s achievements and potential as a global pioneer in artificial intelligence.
Jia Kui, Chairman of Kuawei Intelligence, spoke about Embodied intelligence is being developed efficiently, focusing on the four key elements of “data-model-ontology-scenario,” with Sim2Real as the key path to breaking through data bottlenecks. Combining the accumulated expertise in cross-dimensional intelligence (innovation at the data/simulation/model layers), hardware products (DexForce dual-version robots), and development platforms, it will enable the implementation of over 50 niche scenarios and promote large-scale application.
Finally, Gu Hongkang, Head of the Technical Sales and Business Center at Pasini Technology, presented “Building a Bridge Between AI Intelligence and Physical Time, Leading the Global Intelligent Perception Revolution.” He focused on addressing the “data desert” dilemma of embodied intelligence, emphasizing tactile perception and providing a comprehensive solution: proprietary hardware such as ITPU, MotionSharing, and more. DB datasets and VTLA models, building the world’s first over-extraction factory, using PMEC technology to reduce costs, and verifying multiple scenarios, becoming a leader in tactile perception and accelerating industry transformation.
The 2025 AGIC Tencent Cloud Intelligence Forum was a feast of ideas for the AI field. Elite figures from academia and the business community gathered to discuss strategies for the development of the AI industry.
